Ladies’ Junior Foursomes
The Hazel Grove Ladies Junior Foursomes team had a fantastic win over Powerscourt in the Quarter Finals of the Junior Foursomes on 16th July.
Congratulations to Team Manager Phyllis, Lady Captain Frances, Marie, Babs, Liz, Miriam & Debs. Thanks to all the supporters who turned up for the match.
Semi Final opposition & date to be confirmed.
Ladies’ Minor Cup
The Hazel Grove Ladies Minor Cup team had a great win against Clontarf on the 19th of July to reach the semi finals. Congratulations and well done to Lady Captain and team manager Frances.
The team was Eileen R, Michelle, Phyllis, Miriam and Evelyn.
A big thank you to their caddies: Debs, Deirdre, Marie Roisin & Eileen M, and all the supporters.

Ladies’ Challenge Cup
Hazel Grove Ladies were beaten in the Challenge Cup 3 & 2 in the Grange by South County on Monday 31st May. A hard fought battle with two matches going up 19 and final match decided on 18. Hard luck to Margaret, Eileen, Joan, Sinead and Teresa and thanks to all the ladies who gave up their time to caddy
Best Cup
It was a close and hard fought contest against Malahide in the last 16 of the Best Cup on Saturday 12th of June. Both matches were won at home and one match went to the 19th hole in Malahide before Hazel Grove lost 3 to 2. Thanks to John Gleeson for his work in managing the team and to all who put their names forward to play in the matches. Particular thanks to new members, Darren Parsons, Paul A Moran and Tony Maguire for their participation. |
