The Course at Hazel Grove |

Friendly and accessible golf in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. Hazel Grove Golf Course, opened in 1988, was designed by Watty Sullivan who also designed the courses at Slade Valley and Kilmashogue. Hazel Grove is an 18 hole parkland course based on a 10 hole layout. The course stretches to 4985 metres with a par of 69 for men, the ladies course measures 4,635 metres with a par of 71.Although not overly long, accuracy of shot-making and a good short game are needed in order to score well. The course is located nine miles from the city centre and just a mile from The Square shopping centre in Tallaght. Hazel Grove is a haven for wildlife. Squirrels, rabbits and deer along with many species of birds can be seen. Although close to the city there is a pleasant feeling of being in the countryside when out on the course.
